Friends of the Muni Inc. is a registered 501(c)3 charitable organization formed to raise money for capital projects at the Charleston Municipal Golf Course.

The mission of the Friends of the Muni is to:
  • Preserve the HISTORY of golf in Charleston,
  • Present the Muni as a vital COMMUNITY asset, and…
  • Ensure the FUTURE OF THE GAME for all residents and visitors.

The initial objective of the board was to raise money to complete the 2020 renovation of the Muni. With the project completed in December 2020, Friends of the Muni will continue to remain in place and actively pursue opportunities to help the Muni well into the future.

Your generous donations will help ensure that the Muni continues to have the resources necessary to be affordable, accessible, and enjoyable for everyone.
